Robert Pattinson: How He Turned ‘Twilight’ Into A Full-Fledged Movie Career

Now that 'Twilight' is over, the hunky actor is breaking out on his own. Nearly five years after Twilight hit the big screen, Robert Pattinson remains one of the most sought-after men in Hollywood. Even when times got tough, the 26-year-old hunk — who ranks No. 8 on Celebuzz’s Hollywood Power Index — persevered. When news hit last summer that girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, it did little to hurt his career. Not only did fans rally around the London-born actor, but the last installment of the Twilight franchise was one of the highest grossing films of the year. “It’s a little bit overwhelming,” he told Celebuzz exclusively about the end of the film series. “It’s very strange and I still can’t get it in my head that I’m not doing another [movie].” But life goes on for the actor. His next project will be The Rover, by Australia’s David Michôd, in which he will team up with Memento and Animal Kingdom star Guy Pearce. (As we know already Rob is filming as I type this) Pattinson is also slated to play Col. T.E. Lawrence in Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert opposite Naomi Watts and Jude Law. (Sorry CB you're late on this but Jude and Naomi are out and the film itself is on standby.) So, what do our experts have to say about about the future of Pattinson’s career? Launch the video below to find out. === Source: Celebuzz
